ASA Focus Group Series Hancock Prospecting Swimmers Support Scheme (HPSSS) and the Patron’s Medal Achievement Incentive Fund

The ASA is providing the opportunity to hear directly from swimmers about their experiences with the Hancock Prospecting Swimmers Support Scheme (HPSSS) and the Patron’s Medal Achievement Incentive Fund.

As the representative body for swimmers, the ASA believes it’s important that athletes have a genuine opportunity to share their voice on programs that impact athlete support.

We've provide you the opportunity to join in Focus Group sessions this week for each Open Water, Paralympic and Olympic programs, but also note these sessions do not suit everyone.

Alternatively, this survey will provide a constructive, athlete centred reflection on experiences from the 2025 to 2026 funding cycle and raise any queries, feedback or concerns relating to the funding policy going forward.

We've prepared 20 questions for you to complete, with options to provide additional feedback throughout. We strongly encourage you to set aside 10-15 mins to participate; your input helps ensure athlete experiences are understood and represented in future discussions.

Feedback will be captured as de-identified themes, ensuring individual contributions remain confidential.
